Sailing Her Appears Effortless

Dulcinea is the first collaboration between Bill Dixon and Vaudrey Miller Yachts of New Zealand.  Their brief; to produce a family world cruising yacht with pace, excellent accommodation and good living space above and below decks that could also be enjoyed by charter guests.

The yacht is available from any major port in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean and the charter fee includes airport pickup and delivery.

Our vision is to provide our guests with a friendly welcoming atmosphere on board and allow them to take away memories of their yachting experience they will cherish all of their lives.

Whether new to yachting or old hands, we will find sheltered waters for those who desire a gentle introduction, or for those who like to feel the wind and sea, we can cruise at a livelier pace.

There is a generous sized saloon and galley facilities to enable the chef to produce cuisine to a level matching that found ashore and her ample fridge and freezer capacity means that a cool drink is always to hand.

For added comfort the yacht is fully air-conditioned so after a wonderful day's sail in areas renowned for their calm warm breezes, it is possible to anchor in a quiet bay and perhaps take a refreshing dip before dinner is served.

She can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 private cabins, 
each with their own en-suite bathroom facilities.

Each cabin, as well as the saloon, is equipped with a TV and radio/CD player, with an extension in the cockpit. There is also a generous DVD/video library.

Pulman upper berths in the froward cabin help accommodate groups
with singles or children.

A key feature is her super cockpit with twin wheels and ample seating.

Her in-boom furling and electrical furling makes sailing her appear effortless.

Dulcinea's Crew

Captain Johan (Hans) Lammer
A one man mini-United Nations, Johan was born in Holland, is a Canadian Permanent Resident and an Antiguan national. He speaks fluent Dutch, English and German as well as some Spanish, French and Italian.

Hans' experience in all aspects of yachting is matched by few colleagues in the industry. He has owned, rebuilt, restored and chartered yachts from 75 year old wooden classics to modern catamarans; designed and overseen the building of a high speed ferry and raced on 'winners of class' in the Saint Maarten Heineken and Antigua Classic Yacht Regattas. Based in Antigua for over 20 years, he co-founded and co-owned Jolly Harbor Marina, ran the water sports program for Jumby Bay Resort and managed both yacht sales and charter brokerages.

From 2000 to 2005 Captain Lammer skippered a private Heidenskip 65 foot yacht with a busy owner/guest cruising schedule in the Eastern Caribbean. Name a bustling port or secluded anchorage and he's been there – many times. Following the 2005 launch of the same owner's 84 foot sloop, Hans sailed from Holland to England, France, Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and across the Atlantic to Antigua. In all he has made seven Atlantic crossings and sailed over 200,000 ocean miles. Hans has held a Royal Yachting Association Yacht Master Ocean License since 1979.

Chef Kathy Lammers
Kathy graduated from Toronto's York University with a degree in Marketing and Business Management. Her pre-yachting career included ten years of administrative and paralegal responsibilities with one of Canada's largest law firms. She has been Hans' life and business partner since 1997 and holds dual Canadian and Antiguan citizenship.

Kathy found expression for her life-long passion for cooking as chef on the 65 and 84 foot Heidenskip yachts, creating meals to please the palates of guests from many countries and backgrounds. Drawing on experience provisioning in ports of call from Northern Europe to the Med and Caribbean she incorporates fresh, local market ingredients in menus customized for each charter. Kathy speaks some Dutch and French.
