The Charter Of A Lifetime
|
You’re about to embark on a
Caribbean charter experience unlike any other. It is superbly
equipped. It is excellently crewed. It is richly decorated.
It is perfectly designed. But best of all, it is absolutely
fun-filled.

Maybe your mood is just to relax. Head up to the flybridge for a
soak in the hot tub or enjoy a cocktail (or two) while stretching
out on the super comfortable lounging areas. There’s even a
nice, quiet corner on the flybridge which is perfect for reading your
favorite book.
Do you need your fitness fix? Just aft on the flybridge is our Bowflex
TreadClimber which gives you a great workout no matter what your fitness
level. Best of all, you’ll have a fantastic view of your Caribbean
anchorage.

The main salon is the perfect place to gather with your family or
guests. Kick back in one of our soft leather reclining chairs or cuddle
with your kids on our large sectional sofa. With just the touch of
a few switches, a large HD LED TV rises from the cabinetry and instantly
the salon is converted into a media room complete with stereo surround
sound. Feeling like a little more family fun? We have the games –
Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation and the Nintendo Wii.

The Accomodations.

and crew
Captain George Custer
He was born and raised southern in Georgia. Although the mountains have a place in his heart, salt water runs through his veins. He fell in love with the sea as early as 8 years old and has pursued opportunities on and under water ever since. George has been in the charter yachting industry for over 20 years and has extensive cruising experience on a variety of vessels worldwide. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 3000 Ton Master’s License. He is very well-known and respected within the yachting community. His southern charm is endearing and his enthusiasm for all Freedom offers is infectious. Sport-minded guests will be delighted to learn that George is an all around sportsman himself. He is a Master Scuba Instructor and holds certifications in sailing, windsurfing, white water rafting and canoeing, survival training and rock climbing. In addition to his passion for SCUBA diving, he also enjoys taking underwater video, and is an exceptional digital photographer. His safety certifications include instructor levels in Medic First Aid, Wilderness EMT, PADI Rescue Diver and Swift Water Rescue. Corporate charter clients take note: George has extensive experience in designing and leading corporate team building activities involving sports. He also enjoys sharing his vast knowledge of the Virgin Islands and its many tucked away anchorages and diving spots.
Mate Jason Cruz
Growing up in Florida, just about everything Jason has done in his life has been around water. Naturally he turned to the yachting industry for a career on the sea. One of his first Deckhand/Mate jobs was with Captain George Custer starting in 2003. Since then they have worked together on several yachts and have formed a highly intuitive working relationship that makes for well-choreographed team work and high quality service. In addition to his yachting skills, Jason is an exceptional water sportsman. He also is a PADI Dive Master and Lifeguard. But what really gives him professional satisfaction is helping kids on charter experience the thrill of learning any one of Freedom’s water sports or activities.
Chef Quinn Corbett
Born into a coast guard family in Maine, Quinn grew up knowing all
about life at sea. Not one to follow family tradition, Quinn blazed
his own trail by pursuing a passion for food and cooking. First, he
studied at the renowned Johnson and Wales University where he received
his Culinary Arts degree with honors. Then a few years later, he started
working with Captain George Custer on Lady Bebe in the Caribbean.
Now for more than 10 years, he has been a Chef in the charter yachting
industry. From the minute you meet him, you’ll discover Quinn is passionate
about food and is well-versed in many styles of cuisine. His baking
skills are second to none and you’ll often be drawn to the galley
by the aromas of freshly baked breads, pies and pastries. He greatly
enjoys the challenge of creating meals from local sources while emphasizing
freshness and quality. Consistently, Quinn delivers exceptional meals
to guests that are comforting and satisfying. In addition to his culinary
skills, Quinn brings, from his home place in the Oregon wine region,
a vast knowledge of wine and food pairing. He is sure to delight even
the most discerning guests. Quinn is also a certified PADI rescue
diver and a USCG qualified Able Seaman. His other interests include
chess, tennis, hiking, camping and traveling.
Stewardess Sara Hosein
Sara is a native Floridian but stayed in the south for her college education at the University of Tennessee/Chattanooga. A few years after graduating, she discovered the hospitality life of a charter stewardess. Before joining Freedom, she parlayed her experience on yachts into work as a private airline stewardess. Now, returning to the yachting industry, she brings to Freedom impressive first-class service. Her quiet charm and warm smile permeates everything she does on Freedom from serving up signature cocktails to attending to a guest’s every need. She is extremely intuitive, resourceful and passionate about providing the highest level of service. Sarah has been described as having a fantastic eye for detail. She will certainly ensure that your time on board is truly memorable and totally relaxing. Sara also holds an Advanced SCUBA Diving certification and is an active sportswoman.
Deckhand Ryan Church
Ryan grew up in Kennebunk, Maine. But his love for the sea and a warmer
climate lead him to Barry University in Miami. Soon after graduating,
he met Captain George Custer for a deckhand position on Sea Bird.
Immediately impressed with his enthusiasm and strong work ethic, George
brought him on board. Once again, with extensive hands-on experience,
Ryan has teamed up with Captain George and the crew on Freedom. He
knows boats, tenders and toys inside and out. His experience as a
water sports camp counselor gives him an edge when it comes to assisting
kids of all ages with the many toys on board. He also holds a PADI
Advanced SCUBA diver certification and is CPR certified.
